Volunteer Opportunities
BACH to School Bash
Each August, we invite current BACH children and families to enjoy games, exhibits, hot dogs, and fun at the fair grounds to celebrate the beginning of the school year. Volunteers can assist with facilitating games, serving hot dogs, and set up/tear down.
Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
Each year we have donors provide items for BACH families’ Thanksgiving meals. Volunteers can assist with organizing donations, packing meal boxes, and delivering boxes to families across Brazoria County.
Christmas Party
Come watch the magic of Christmas light up a child’s face! Each December BACH staff host current BACH families for a meet and great with Santa, crafts, and snacks. This event is typically on a weeknight in the beginning of December.
Clerical
Behind the scenes work makes sure that everything else runs smoothly at BACH. Clerical volunteer duties could include filing, shredding, organizing, assisting with mass mail outs, and other administrative tasks.
Maintenance
BACH is always searching for volunteers to help maintain and work on our facility. If you have experience with drywall, electrical, plumbing, and/or general maintenance work, we would love to have you!
Sensory Garden
Come work in our sensory garden to maintain a space that is beautiful, functional, and safe for our Buster’s Kids program to utilize. Volunteers can weed, plant, rake leaves, and overall maintain/clean the space.
Booths/Fairs
Help us represent BACH at community engagement events. This volunteer opportunity could include organizing event materials, set up/tear down, and attending the event to the tell the community about the amazing work of BACH. These events occur at a variety of days and times depending on the vendor’s needs.
Fundraising Events
BACH hosts two fundraising events each year. Volunteers can assist with the planning committee, set up/tear down, serving the meal/beverages, running AV equipment, and a variety of other tasks depending on the event.
